Veritas is intented to be the best possible white rum: combining the best of Barbados column still rum with 'funk' - un-aged Jamaica pot still rum - and a little 2-year-old Foursquare pot still rum.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.
Excludes perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable.
If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Please email us at [email protected] with your order confirmation number, full name and the reason you for the return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
Born out of a pursuit to create the best white rum on the market, Veritas is a collaboration between Richard Seale of Foursquare Distillery and Italian Importer Luca Gargano of Velier. Their idea was to combine the best of Barbados column still rum with the funk, which is un-aged Jamaica pot still rum, from Hampden. This is rounded out by a little 2 year old aged pot still rum from Foursquare, that gives the rum its slight yellowish haze. Bottled at 47%, this has no additives or colourings. The extra ABV gives an incredibly pungent nose of ripe tropical fruit, zesty lime, vanilla and light coconut. On the palate there's a slight creaminess with soft toffee and more fruit. This can equally be sipped or put into your favourite rum cocktail. A Veritas Daiquiri is outstanding!
