Reservoir’s Cask Experience, rye and wheat whiskies are finished in a 400-litre Francois Voyer Cognac cask.
Please note: There are exceptionally few bottles of the Reservoir Cask Experience Cognac Francois Voyer Finish, so we are restricting purchases to 1 bottle per customer/household. Additional orders will be cancelled and refunded.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Please email us at [email protected] with your order confirmation number, full name and the reason you for the return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
The collaboration between Reservoir Distillery and the Cognac house of François Voyer began after a mutual friend introduced representatives of the two, believing they both operate with similar values and appreciation of the craft. For 18 months, Reservoir’s team, consisting of Dave Cuttino, Founder, Shelley Sackier, Director of Distillery Education and Nick Vaughan, Master Blender, worked with Olivier Renaud, François Voyer’s General Manager and their Cellarmaster, Pierre Vaudon to exchange and group samples, discuss distillation, barrelling, and maturation techniques, and to ultimately select casks in which each house would finish their spirits.
For Reservoir’s Cask Experience, we hand-selected several fully matured whiskies that beautifully married with the flavours of the cognac. François Voyer sent a 100-gallon Limousin barrel previously holding a 2016 cognac, which was immediately filled with Reservoir’s chosen spirit – a wheated rye whiskey (35% wheat and 65% rye). It then spent five additional months in the cask, acquiring sophisticated cognac notes until it was ready to be bottled. Cognac François Voyer is an artisanal producer whose history dates back 5 generations, with key sites within the Grande Champagne Cru. The house is respected as "a well-kept secret, one that connoisseurs might pass amongst each other."
