Bussia is one of the great vineyards of Barolo, and this exquisite Nebbiolo from Prunotto is aged in large old oak barrels for 18 months to tease out the maximum expression of this glorious site. Although pale in colour, this is a red wine of extraordinary complexity with notes of blood orange and pink pepper alongside wafts of floral red berries. Filigree tannins and perfect balance.

We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.

Barolo Bussia DOCG comes from the splendid amphitheater-shaped vineyard in the Bussia Monforte d’Alba area. This historic wine was produced for the first time at Prunotto as a single vineyard wine in 1961. The balance and complexity of the Nebbiolo grapes are enhanced by the vineyard’s varied south to southwest exposure and the traditional aging in large barrels.
Barolo Bussia is intensely ruby red with light garnet hues. The nose is complex and precise: notes of red oranges and pink pepper lead to hints of small wild berries and roots. The palate is full and fruity with excellent structure and silky tannins accompanied by extraordinary freshness. The wine closes with a persistent finish that echoes aromas perceived on the nose.
