The iconic Petrus is one of the greatest Red Bordeaux of all. The unusually old vines are in a small 11 hectare Pomerol vineyard, planted almost exclusively to Merlot. The wines reached new heights under the ownership of the Mouiex family, and are some of the most complex and long lived of the region. The brilliant 1995 is in its plateau of maturity, with a gloriously complex array of truffled red fruits and game on the nose and a velvety, long palate
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

"The 1995 Petrus is one of the finest vintages of the decade, a silver medal behind the brilliant 1998. This bottle might well constitute the best that I have encountered. It has a beautiful, focused nose with hints of game and humidor infusing the black fruit. With aeration more red fruit becomes evident, allied with a touch of roasted chestnut. The palate is supremely well balanced, slightly gamey and with impressive grip. There is a bit of chutzpah about this Petrus, the way in which it fans out towards the finish.
