Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. In 1964, Couvreur left Burgundy and travelled over 930 miles to his new home in Scotland where his attention turned to whisky production – from the selection of the most ancient strains of cereals to sourcing extremely rare Sherry oak casks. It became his dream to pursue his passion and make a whisky that was so unique and unlike any other... and that he has certainly done!
In the 70’s Michel returned to France to be nearer to the origin of his much-loved Sherry casks and began digging his own cellar in the hillside of Bouze-Iès-Beaune in Côte d’Or. Here, about midway between the Andalusian vineyards and the Scottish Highlands, Michel Couvreur matures his whiskies, which are firstly distilled in Scotland before being shipped to Burgundy, where they are carefully aged in original Sherry oak casks to produce an exquisite blend of two cultures that creates one exceptional whisky.
What really makes Michel Couvreur Whiskies so unique is the two cellars they have for ageing; one dry cellar that creates a whisky that is spicy and intense with an abv of up to 60% and one very damp cellar creating a whisky that is much more mellow with a lower abv.
Tasting Notes: Fragrances of Sherry, flowers, vanilla and dried fruits. Mellow, and long in the mouth. A fabulous balance between the warmth of Sherry and the fresh flavours only barley can produce.
