Australia's greatest sparkling wine producer is the Tasmanian House of Arras. Award-winning winemaking legend Ed Carr crafts exceptional wines such as their Grand Vintage; a chardonnay dominant traditional method fizz, aged for nearly 7 years. Rich and complex with finely judged bubbles, aromas of toast, nuts, grilled peach and saline minerals - a wonderful wine.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
In 1988, Ed Carr embarked on a journey to craft an exceptional Australian sparkling wine, equal to the world’s best. In 1995, House of Arras was founded; the name ‘Arras’ means ‘rich tapestry’. House of Arras is Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine brand with over 100 trophies and more than 268 gold medals to date. Based in Tasmania, they work with a range of vineyards across 6 regions of this cool climate island to produce exceptional traditional method sparkling wines, distinguished by their long lees ageing.
Ed is widely regarded as a legend of the sparkling wine world, held in the highest regard in both Australia and Europe, and in 2024 was crowned as Sparkling Winemaker of the Year by the International Wine Challenge and the Chairman’s Trophy at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships (CSWWC).
The Grand Vintage is a blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir from the very best parcels of fruit. 10% is fermented in new French oak barriques followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged on lees for almost 7 years before bottling with just 2 g/l dosage
