This wine, which was produced from vines planted in the early 1980s, exhibits wonderful aromatics and exceptional elegance for the appellation. Fixin is known for making robust, rich Pinots, but this wine has much more refinement than one may often anticipate. A lovely introduction to Fixin wines and one that offers excellent value for this region just to the north of Gevrey Chambertin.
All fruit is hand-picked, hand-sorted, 100% de-stemmed, and then chilled for one week at 10°C before warming naturally over a few weeks. Beginning with pigeage (plunging), extraction transitions to lighter remontage (pump-overs) about the halfway point.
All of the wines are bottled unfiltered after 12 months of ageing in 25% new oak barriques. Collotte uses a single cooperage and barrel specification in an effort to maintain consistency among the many terroirs. Tonnellerie Rousseau Allegro barriques make up each and every barrel.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Please email us at [email protected] with your order confirmation number, full name and the reason you for the return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
