Copenhagen Distillery Whisky Raw Edition Batch No.1 2020 is made from local, organic, unpeated, pilsner barley malt, double and triple-distilled, then aged in untoasted virgin oak, giving a clean, crisp expression.
The Raw Edition range uses these distillation and maturation techniques in order to maximise the expression of the grain itself. This is their first batch, of which only 300 50cl and 3 2.5-litre bottles were made.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
Copenhagen Distillery was founded in 2015 as the city's first craft distillery, and has innovated since its inception. With an initial focus on gin and aquavit, whisky-making was always part of the plan.
This whisky is the 1st release in from their Raw range - a range focused on distillation and maturation methods that retain the core, raw aromas of the grains used in distillation (they also have Rare and Refined ranges, with different philosophies).
A single malt Danish whisky, this was double and triple-distilled in a small, 300-litre still, using top-quality local, organic, unpeated, pilsner barley malt, giving a clean, crisp expression.
Maturation uses virgin, air-dried, medium-toasted, small (100-litre) Hungarian oak barrels that reinforce the clean, clear characteristics.
Tasting note: remarkably rich, yet with a fresh floral nose. On the palate its very malty, peppery flavours are accompanied by subtle earthy notes.
