From a great vintage now drinking at its peak, the 1996 Bordeaux 1st Growth Pauillac Mouton Rothschild has mellowed over time, showing a complex array of blackcurrant, cedar and spice notes soaring from the glass and broad yet resolved tannins that make this great wine a pleasure to drink.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

"Tasted at the "First Growth" lunch in London. Not quite as exuberant as the bottle served blind at Farr's horizontal, but still a great Mouton. The nose is tighter than last time but will those similar traits of blackberry, cedar, cooked meats, perhaps here with just a tiny touch of greenness. The palate is medium-bodied with a lovely rounded texture, but underneath that has great structure and focus. Packed full of cedar towards the finish, never taking its eye off the ball, very tannic on the finish. This one is definitely for the cellar. Drink 2012-2030." 95/100 Neal Martin
