Aalborg Porse Snaps was launched in 1965, inspired by Danish traditional, homemade, spiced spirits, with a distinct flavour of rosemary and a Sherry finish.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.
Excludes perishable or personalised products or those products that have been specified as non-returnable.
If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Please email us at [email protected] with your order confirmation number, full name and the reason you for the return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
The history of Aalborg Akvavit began in the mid-1800’s, where the father of Danish aquavit, Isidor Henius, introduced the rectification technique in Denmark. A distillation technique that results in a very clean and neutral spirit called fine rectified alcohol.
With the introduction of this technique, Henius raised the quality level of aquavit in Denmark significantly. The fine rectified alcohol is the backbone in the aquavits and snaps, produced by Aalborg. The effort of Isidor Henius, within the spirit industry, is the reason why Danish aquavit today is considered to be among some of the finest aquavits in the world.
