We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Dictador have been producing quality aged rum since the early 1900’s. The third-generation rum producer is based in Cartagena, on the northern coast of Colombia, known for its high-quality sugarcane. The distillery was founded by Don Julio Arrango y Parra, a direct descendant of Severo Arango y Ferro after whom the brand is named. Ferro earned the nickname Dictador (“dictator”) for his forceful nature while improving tax collection in Colombia (or Cartagena de Indias in Nueva Granada, as it was then known). Ferro’s deep appreciation for rum was pivotal in the sugarcane spirits trade and today, Dictador is produced by third generation Master Blender Hernan Parra. The rums are made from virgin sugarcane honey rather than molasses which they feel is the purest part. It is distilled in copper and continuous column stills before being aged in quality oak barrels. The angels’ share in the Caribbean is around 10% and to reduce evaporation when producing its oldest rums they top-up with distillate from the same vintage. Concerning the flagship core range, the 12-year rum is finished in sherry casks, while the 20-year is finished in port casks. This is something unique in their production process. The aging in Colombia’s tropical climate results in a smooth, well-rounded rum with rich flavour, highlighted by notes of caramel, vanilla, coffee, and spices. Today, Dictador is recognised as a leading investment-grade rum. Thier F&R and vintage portfolio blurs the lines between spirit categories as they continue introducing new collaborations and achieving record auction prices in the rum sector. Their collaborations to date include partnerships with Glenfarclas Whisky, Hardy Cognac, Leclerc Briant Champagne, Barton Bourbon, Laballe Armagnac, Château d'Arche Sauternes, and Penderyn Welsh Whisky.
