Charles Sparr is the 12th generation of this Alsace winemaking family. This is his classic Pinot Blanc, with a rounded texture, fleshy white peach and toasted bread notes.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
The Sparr family have been making wine in Alsace for almost 400 years, and current winemaker Charles is the twelfth generation, having worked his first vintage in 2010. He studied oenology in Burgundy and Napa, and has a great passion for terroir. Situated in the heart of Alsace their 30 hectares of vineyards covers various stretches of slopes from Riquewihr to Sigolsheim and Turckheim, with fantastic Grand Cru vineyards in areas including Schoenenbourg and Mambourg. They have been practising organic since 2010.
The vineyard is located on a gravel soil in the beautiful village of Sigolsheim. The parcel is worked organically and by hand with particular attention given to expressing the terroir.
The grapes are slowly pressed to obtain maximum expression of the grape. A temperature controlled fermentation occurs in tank with native yeasts. Then the wine is aged in stainless steel tank.
Grape: 100% Pinot Blanc
Tasting Note: A delicious medium-weight dry white displaying a floral nose with hints of preserved lemon, white flowers and straw. Opens up to reveal honeyed yellow plum notes with a ripe, succulent texture. A really expressive Pinot Blanc of great personality.
Food Match: Ideal with salads, seafood and fish such as sea bass with fennel.
