Cálem 40 Year Old Tawny Port, from this Portuguese house that specialises in Tawnies, is a truly rare wine whose 40 years' barrel aging have created a complex, nutty, sweet-spiced treasure for special occasions.
Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
We charge a flat fee of £5.95 for delivery if your order is under 20kg, and £10 inc VAT if it is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £120 (inc VAT).
For Standard Delivery, we will ship items within 2 working days, provided the order is placed before midday.
For Express Delivery, we will ship items the same day, provided the order is placed before midday.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, and the following day, you will receive a text from our courier with a delivery window. If your order has not yet arrived, please email [email protected] and quote your order number.
Keep an eye out for your shipment confirmation email; once you get it, your order will be delivered the next day.

Situated on the south bank of the Douro River, this wine estate has an area of 300 hectares, 100 of which occupied by the best vineyards of the Douro Demarcated Region, classified with the letter “A”.
Cálem only bottles its Tawny Ports when an order is received therefore ensuring the freshness of that particular bottling. The bottling date is clearly visible on the back label.
Tasting Notes: Golden-greenish colour. Powerful nose, complex, with explosion aromas of nuts and spciy nuances, with honey tones. In the mouth, it is dense, unctuous and velvety but fresh. Superb wine, excels qualit, remarkable ageing in wood and an absolutely delicious finish.
